Chelsea are reportedly once again mulling over a shock £20m move for West Brom misfit Saido Berahino.
The defending Premier League champions, who face current league leaders Leicester City on Monday night, are set to face London rivals Tottenham in a battle to sign the Burundi-born star during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old, who was called up to the England national first-team last November, has scored just three goals in 11 league games for Tony Pulis’ Baggies so far this season.
With Blues striker Diego Costa failing to rule out a return to La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid, manager Jose Mourinho is keeping a close eye on the former England Under-21 international ahead of next month’s transfer activity.
