Chelsea are reportedly ready to splash out an incredible £57m for Italy international duo Leonardo Bonucci and Antonio Candreva this summer, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who could only finish tenth in the English top-flight standings last term during their defence of the 2014/15 title, are ready to launch a stunning double bid to land the Lazio and Juventus stars.
Centre-half Bonucci; 29, who has 59 international caps for his country, scored three goals in 49 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A champions last season.
Meanwhile winger Candreva; also 29, who is playing alongside Bonucci in Italy’s EURO 2016 squad this summer in France, scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 44 games for Lazio.
The report suggests that incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, who is currently managing Italy at the EURO finals, is keen on bringing the pair to Stamford Bridge as part of his revolution ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
