Chelsea are reportedly plotting a £25m offer for England international midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to The Sun.

The Premier League champions, who have already brought in goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger, midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and striker Alvaro Morata this summer transfer window, have been freshly linked with a move for the Arsenal winger ahead of the new 2017-18 campaign.

The 23-year-old, who has 27 international caps for The Three Lions, scored six goals and provided 11 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions for The Gunners last season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium back in August 2011 following his move from Premier League rivals Southampton, has netted 20 strikes in almost 200 games overall for Arsene Wenger’s outfit, lifting three FA Cups and two FA Community Shields.

However, the winger has just 12 months remaining on his current deal in North London, having turned down Arsenal’s latest offer, alerting Blues boss Antonio Conte to his possible availability.
