Chelsea are reportedly closely monitoring the form of Italy youth international Stefano Sensi.

The defending Premier League champions, who have only managed to pick up 11 points from their opening 12 league fixtures, are understood to be admirers of the Cesena star ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who represents his country at Under-20 level, has scored twice in 12 league appearances for the Serie B outfit so far this season.

However, Jose Mourinho’s Blues face stiff competition from fellow Italian rivals Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli for Sensi’s services in the New Year.
