Chelsea target Raheem Sterling has reportedly been asking friends about life in west London amid ongoing speculation linking the forward with a move to Chelsea.

Rumours have circulated over the past few days linking the England international with a move to Stamford Bridge, with several outlets reporting that the Blues are increasingly confident of agreeing a deal for the player this summer.

The 27-year-old’s contract with City is set to expire next summer, but Pep Guardiola is believed to be open to letting him leave during the current window.

It also seems that Sterling himself is open to the prospect of leaving the club and joining Thomas Tuchel’s side, with The Athletic reporting that the player has been enquiring to friends about what life is like in west London.

Sterling could be on his way to Chelsea this summer

The report also states that the Englishman has also asked about what it is like to play for Tuchel.

Sterling has scored 131 goals in 339 games for the Citizens, but started just 23 Premier League games this term with his playing time dropping significantly over the past two seasons.

It is also claimed by sources close to the club that the only possible obstacle threatening the deal would be the fee, with City hoping for £50 million, significantly higher than the £35 million that Chelsea are willing to pay.
