Chelsea target Romelu Lukaku has reportedly been offered a new £135,000-a-week deal by Everton, according to the Mirror.
Toffees manager Ronald Koeman is keen to keep the Belgium international at Goodison Park this summer as he looks to improve on an 11th-placed finish last term, but Antonio Conte’s side are determined to bring the 23-year-old back to west London, just two years after they sold him for £28 million.
The striker is understood to be keen to work with Conte at Stamford Bridge and feels he has unfinished business with the Blues, while he also wants to link up with Belgian teammates, Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Michy Batshuayi.
Chelsea are already believed to have had a £57 million offer rejected for Lukaku, who has scored 45 goals in 94 appearances for Everton since making a permanent move to Merseyside in 2014, while they are also said to have proposed a £65 million deal that would include their out-of-favour striker, Loic Remy.
