Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Belgium international forward Thorgan Hazard, according to Bild.

The defending Premier League champions, who were held to a 0-0 draw at Championship side Norwich City in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday, have been linked with luring Eden Hazard’s younger brother to Stamford Bridge this month from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 24-year-old, who has seven international caps for his country, has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 20 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season.

Hazard, who began his career at French club Lens, did in fact join The Blues back in July 2012, shortly after the club signed his sibling Eden from Lille, but he failed to make a single first-team appearance for the Premier League side.

However, the report suggests manager Antonio Conte wants Thorgan to re-join Chelsea, and link up with brothers Eden and Kylian, 22, at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard has netted 29 times in 130 games overall for Monchengladbach since initially arriving on loan back in July 2014 from The Blues, and is valued at £18m by transfermarkt.
