Chelsea have been told by Shakhtar Donetsk to move quickly if they want to sign reported target, Alex Teixeira.
The 25-year-old is understood to have revealed that the Blues are in talks with his side about a January move for him, after he scored an incredible 26 goals in just 26 games from midfield.
And his boss at the Ukrainian outfit, Mircea Lucescu, has warned Jose Mourinho that he should sign the Brazilian during the upcoming transfer window, because he believes he will be worth even more money in the summer.
Lucescu said: “Alex is now worth more than €40m (£29m). I think at the end of the season, were he to continue his performance, his value is €50m (£36.3m).”
Chelsea are currently 16th in the Premier League standings after losing nine of their 16 matches in a miserable campaign to date, and are expected to spend next month.
