Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah has completed a £12.75 million move to AS Roma following a successful loan spell with the Serie A club.

The Egypt international spent last term with the Serie A giants and impressed, helping the club to a third-placed finish, behind Juventus and Napoli, as he scored 15 goals in 42 matches in all competitions.

However, the goal tally wasn’t enough to convince new Blues boss Antonio Conte that he had a future at Stamford Bridge,

The forward signed for the west London outfit from Swiss side Basel in January 2014 and made his debut in a home match against Newcastle United, however he failed to establish himself in the first-team and spent the second-half of the 2014/15 campaign on loan another Italian team, Fiorentina.

Salah made 19 appearances in total for Chelsea, scoring two goals, with his first strike coming in the memorable 6-0 win against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in March 2014.
