Chelsea will likely have felt frustrated having failed to beat Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, with the two sides playing out a goalless draw.

Graham Potter’s side had won just twice in their previous 12 games before visiting Merseyside, but The Blues impressed against Liverpool and had plenty of chances to win the match.

Having been knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round, Chelsea now have more than ten days until their next game against Fulham at Stamford Bridge next Friday.

In the meantime the club’s owner, Todd Boehly, will likely be busy in the transfer market, with the American having already completed five signings during his first January window in charge of the club.

According to reports, though, The Blues’ next deal could see a player leaving the club.

As per The Mail, winger Hakim Ziyech is the subject of interest from a number of clubs both in England and overseas.

The report claims that Chelsea must soon make a decision on the player’s future, with Everton among those interested in signing the Morocco international.

Ziyech has struggled ever since joining Chelsea

The Toffees’ current manager, Frank Lampard, was in charge at Stamford Bridge when Ziyech joined The Blues.

Italian side Roma, managed by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, are also said to be monitoring the player’s situation.

Ziyech, 29, has played a bit-part role ever since arriving in London, but the winger has started three of Chelsea’s last four Premier League games.

The Moroccan joined The Blues from Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax back in 2020 and has since made 98 appearances for the club.

In that time, the winger has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists, but he has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent months.

This month, Chelsea have signed Joao Felix, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke, which could suggest that either Ziyech or Christian Pulisic could be allowed to leave the club before the window closes.
