Serbia international Branislav Ivanovic will reportedly turn down any offer to join West Ham United, according to ESPN FC.
The Premier League side, who currently hover just one point above the top-flight’s relegation zone after Saturday’s 1-1 home draw against Stoke City, are understood to be interested in making a move for the Chelsea defender ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 32-year-old, who has 90 international caps for his country, has made eight appearances in all competitions for The Blues so far this season.
Ivanovic, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow back in January 2008 following his reported £9m transfer, is currently out-of-favour under manager Antonio Conte after switching to a successful 3-4-3 formation.
The Serbian star started the club’s first six league games, including captaining the side against Liverpool and Arsenal, but has since been dropped, with Premier League rivals West Ham said to be interested in the right-back’s services.
