Chelsea’s International Player of the Week

Name: Bertrand Traoré
Country: Burkina Faso
Position: Midfielder

Chelsea may have a number of stars that play for the best countries in the world, but it is one of their fringe youngsters that was their stand out player during the international break.

After losing 2-1 to Benin in the first-leg of a tie that would see them advance to the group stages of 2018 World Cup qualification, Burkina Faso looked in danger of missing out completely.

However, they won 2-0 at home with Traoré sealing victory for the Africans with his side’s second goal, meaning they still have a chance of going to Russia.
