Czech Republic international defender Tomas Kalas has hinted at another summer switch to Fulham.

The 23-year-old, who is on a season-long loan at the Championship outfit from Premier League leaders Chelsea this term, has scored one goal and provided three assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for The Cottagers so far this season.

Kalas, who has five senior international caps for his country, played the full 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon as Slavisa Jokanovic’s side all but secured their play-off place, despite being held back to a 1-1 draw against Brentford.

Having become a first-team regular at Craven Cottage this campaign, the centre-half told BBC Radio London“We’re in touch with Fulham and Chelsea and we’re sorting out my situation for next season.

“Getting promoted would help, but anyway, everyone knows that I’d like to stay, not because I wouldn’t like to play anywhere else but because I’m playing every game and that’s all I need.

“I’m living in an area I know, so right now it’s perfect scenario for me to stay.”

Kalas’ current contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the 2017-18 season.
