Antonio Conte is willing to let Steven Bergwijn leave Tottenham Hotspur in January, according to reports.
The 24-year-old signed on a five-year deal from PSV in January 2020 and made a dream start to life in England by scoring on his Premier League debut in a 2-0 win over Man City.
However, the Dutchman has scored just three times in 59 matches since then and has found his game time limited to just three Premier League starts this term.
Now, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Conte, who was appointed Spurs manager at the start of November, is willing to let the winger end his underwhelming spell in North London.
Ajax have already submitted an official bid for Steven Bergwijn, as revealed yesterday. There’s still no agreement with Tottenham on the fee/final price. 👀🇳🇱 #Ajax

It’s claimed that chairman Daniel Levy is set to back the Italian boss who is aiming to improve his squad in the January transfer window.
Ajax have reportedly submitted a bid for Bergwijn to return to the Netherlands but it’s said that there’s been no agreement made with Tottenham.
Bergwijn was a hit in Holland, scoring 21 goals in his final season-and-a-half with PSV before signing for Spurs.
