Crystal Palace are reportedly mulling over whether to make a £10m approach for Championship hitman Benik Afobe this month.
The Premier League side, who currently sit seventh in the standings following their 3-0 defeat against Chelsea on Sunday, are interested in signing the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old, who is a former England Under-21 international, has scored nine goals in 25 league games for Kenny Jackett’s side so far this season.
Afobe, who only arrived at Molineux from Arsenal in a deal worth around £2m last January, could follow former Wolves forward Bakary Sako in joining Alan Pardew’s Eagles at Selhurst Park this year.
English top-flight rivals Norwich City had a £10m bid for Afobe rejected back in the summer transfer window.
