Crystal Palace are closing in on a deal to sign PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet, according to reports in Holland.

The 24-year-old was first choice stopper last term as PSV won the Eredivisie and it would be seen as yet another major coup for the Eagles if they can secure the ex-Netherlands U-21 international.

Alan Pardew has already signed keeper Alex McCarthy from QPR this summer plus has Julian Speroni and Wales number one Wayne Hennessey in his goalkeeping ranks.

However, Hennessey is expected to depart the club and Speroni is now 36, meaning the south London club are looking for another body to challenge McCarthy for the long-term at Selhurst Park.
