Shoot! would like to wish Manchester United hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic many happy returns as the striker celebrates his 36th birthday today!

The towering forward, who earned a remarkable 116 international caps for Sweden between 2001 and 2016, becoming his country’s sixth most capped player of all-time, rejoined the Premier League club back in August on a one-year deal and was handed the No.10 shirt.

Ibrahimovic, who is still recovering from anterior crucial ligament damage which he sustained back in April, scored an impressive 28 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions for The Red Devils during his debut season at Old Trafford last term.

The Swede legend is expected to return to full fitness in the New Year, and has been named in United’s UEFA Champions League squad.

Prior to his free transfer to Manchester United last summer, Ibrahimovic had played for a list of illustrious clubs, including Ajax, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
