Portugal vs Wales. Defender vs Striker. Jose Fonte vs Hal Robson-Kanu.

The latter has been a shining light for Wales at Euro 2016. Every single person, Wales supporter or otherwise, will remember his Cryuff-like turn against Belgium, when he brilliantly took three players out of the game, before slotting the ball past a helpless Thibaut Courtois.

The Welsh forward is a free agent following his release from Reading this summer, and the man in-form is looking for a new venture – scoring two goals in four games for Wales this summer will ensure he has a lot of interest from Premier League teams.

Portugal, on the contrary, have had a bizarre tournament. Labelled as the pantomime villains, they have been unable to win a game in 90 minutes, yet somehow find themselves in the semi-final of the European Championships.

Jose Fonte has been a bit-time player for Fernando Santos’ side. From five games, he has only featured twice, with veteran Ricardo Caravalho starting all of his nation’s group games. Real Madrid centre-back Pepe is a doubt to start, due to a thigh problem, meaning the Southampton centre-back should feature.

Shoot pairs up a potential battle on the field between the two players.
