France international star Antoine Griezmann admits he would like to play alongside fellow countryman Paul Pogba at club level in the future, via Sky Sports.

The 25-year-old, who has 38 international caps for his country and helped France reach the final of Euro 2016 in his homeland earlier this summer, has already impressively scored eight goals and provided five assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for Atletico Madrid so far this season.

Griezmann, who netted six times at the recent European Championships to claim the tournament’s Golden Boot, has posted a number of photographs on social media as a sign of his friendship with Manchester United star Pogba.

With the duo currently away with France on international duty, the Atletico ace told Sky in Germany, “I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United.

“I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure.

“I ask Paul about some of the players, and if they’re really that good, or if Jose Mourinho is really that good.

“You hear a lot of things [speculation] about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don’t see me moving to a new club.

“But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day.”
