Everton and Liverpool are both reportedly interested in signing France international goalkeeper Steven Mandanda.

The Premier League rivals, who both lost respectively to Leicester City and Watford at the weekend, are interesting in recruiting the want away Marseille captain during next month’s window.

The 30-year-old, who has 20 international caps for his country, has managed to keep six clean sheets in 25 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.

With the Toffees and Reds desperately on the lookout for new replacements for fellow shot stoppers Tim Howard and Simon Mignolet this term; the Merseyside rivals have locked eyes on Mandanda, whose contract at Marseille expires in the summer.
