Everton need to up pay deal for Sigurdsson

Everton will have to increase the wages on offer to Gylfi Sigurdsson if they are to attract the forward from Swansea.
According to a report in the Daily Mirror the two clubs have agreed a £25m transfer fee but Everton have been unable to settle person terms for the Icelandic international.
Sigurdsson played a vital part in Swansea avoiding relegation and is in no rush to quit the club unless there is a substantial pay rise to top his current £80,000/week deal.
After an unhappy stint at Spurs the 27-year-old is in no rush to quit the Welsh side but with an offer of £25m on the table Swansea are prepared to lose their prize asset.
Southampton, West Ham and even Spurs have been linked with Sigurdsson with Ronald Koeman keen to get business done early in the transfer window.
The problem with giving Sigurdsson a contract paying over £100,000/week is the knock on effect with players such as Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku involved in contract talks.
