Everton are reportedly lining up a £21m bid for Ukraine international Andriy Yarmolenko.
The Premier League side, who defeated Dagenham and Redbridge 2-0 in the FA Cup on Saturday, have been long-term admirers of the Dynamo Kiev winger and are set to finally submit a firm offer during this month’s transfer window.
The 26-year-old, who has 55 international caps for his country, has scored an impressive 13 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Ukrainian top-flight outfit this season.
However Toffees boss Roberto Martinez, who is hoping Steve Naismith’s proposed £8m January move to Norwich City will help fund Yarmolenko’s pursuit, is eager to wrap up a deal for the forward before the UEFA European Championships this summer in case his transfer fee escalates.
