Everton are reportedly ready to sign Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony as part of John Stones’ £50 million move to the Etihad, according to the Sun.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is looking to bring in a new attacker this summer after £13.5 million January transfer window signing Oumar Niasse wasn’t given a new squad number for the new season, while Romelu Lukaku is continuing to being linked with a move back to former club Chelsea.
The Merseyside outfit have so far stood strong to the advances of Pep Guardiola’s side for England international Stones, but the offer of Bony on top of the £50 million fee could finally persuade their Dutch manager to sell, although the centre-forward’s former side Swansea are also interested in the 27-year-old.
The Ivory Coast international has struggled to make an impact for the Citizens since moving from the Swans for £28 million in January 2015, scoring just six Premier League goals.
