Everton should snap up these 2 Chelsea stars this summer

Ronald Koeman’s Everton finished their Premier League campaign with a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday.

The Toffees were guaranteed to finish seventh in the table regardless of what happened at the Emirates Stadium and indeed around the country, yet goals from Hector Bellerin, Alexis Sanchez, and Aaron Ramsey condemned the Merseyside outfit to a disappointing loss to conclude the campaign.

Nonetheless, it has been a much-improved season under new boss Koeman, who has comfortably beaten Roberto Martinez’s 11th place finish from last term, and has also got to within eight points of the top six.

Yet, to bridge that gap even further, the Dutchman is going to need to spend big this summer, especially given those above him likely will do as well, and he may well take a look at players from Everton’s rivals when he draws up his list of transfer targets.

And one club he might raid is champions Chelsea, so here are TWO Blues stars Everton must try and land this summer…

Tammy Abraham

With Romelu Lukaku looking likely to be on his way out of Goodison Park, as well as other forward and forgotten man Arouna Kone, Koeman really needs to strengthen his attacking options this summer.

That’s why it’s hardly surprising to see the Toffees linked with a move for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer, who spent this term on loan at Championship side Bristol City.

The 19-year-old bagged 26 goals in just 48 games in all competitions for the Robins to help them stay in the second tier, and it has led to speculation that he may get a chance in the Premier League next term, albeit that’s unlikely to be at Chelsea.

And that’s a deal Everton should look to strike up, especially if the Blues retain their interest in Lukaku, as it could work that Abraham comes to Goodison Park as part of that deal for the Belgian.

Michy Batshuayi

Another forward who looks set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer is Michy Batshuayi.

The 23-year-old managed just one Premier League start for the champions this season, albeit did net five goals in his 239 minutes of league action, including the goal that sealed the title against West Brom a few weeks ago.

However, it has been reported that the Blues will consider letting Batshuayi go this summer, with West Ham and Newcastle interested, yet Koeman’s Everton should also join that list.

Although he hasn’t played much football this season, when Batshuayi has been on the pitch, he has looked sharp and more often than not has scored for Chelsea, so Koeman should look to get a deal done for the Belgian forward this summer.
