While Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and Gerard Deulofeu have been in outstanding form for Everton this term, one of their other star players, Kevin Mirallas, has struggled to even obtain a starting place.
The Belgian’s case wasn’t helped by the fact that when he did come on a substitute in the game against Swansea back in September, he was dismissed just two minutes later for a bad challenge on Modou Barrow.
With some media outlets reporting that the Toffees forward is unhappy and perhaps hasn’t reacted in the best possible way to finding himself consigned to the substitutes’ bench, it’s probably something that Santa won’t have failed to notice either!
