Everton to trigger £2.5m release clause for Burnley manager Sean Dyche

Everton are ready to pay the £2.5m release clause in order to appoint Burnley boss Sean Dyche as their new manager.
As reported by The Sun, the Premier League club are convinced the Clarets star is the right man to succeed Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park, after they sacked the Dutchman last week following two wins from their opening nine league games.
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has identified Burnley’s Dyche as his number one managerial target, despite also holding talks with former England and Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce about the vacancy in London on Wednesday.

He is ready to trigger the £2.5m release clause in Dyche’s current contract at Turf Moor, who has lifted Burnley up to seventh in the Premier League standings, level on points (16) with Liverpool, following their 1-0 victory against Newcastle United on Monday night.
Under-23 boss David Unsworth is currently in caretaker charge of the Everton senior side, who lie in the bottom three of the top-flight, and visit Lyon in the UEFA Europa League tonight (18:00).
