Everton are enduring a poor run of form which has seen them slip from the top-four all the way down to 14th in the table.

Rafa Benitez’s side started the campaign with three wins from four but have since won once in 10 matches.

The Toffees fell to a sixth defeat in seven winless matches at home against Merseyside rivals Liverpool who ran out 4-1 victors.

This has many Evertonians searching for answers as to which direction their beloved club is heading.

Benitez is under pressure to turn the club’s form around but, according to reports, another person is set to pay the price for the club’s poor form.

Benitez’s Everton are sliding down the table.

Football Insider exclusively revealed that Director of Football Marcel Brands is likely to lose his job.

The Dutchman has been leading the club’s recruitment since arriving in 2018 to replace Steve Walsh.

Football Insider claim that an Everton source has informed them that Brands is losing the support of senior figures at Goodison Park and that he is “90 per cent likely” to be dismissed,

Brands, who previously held the same position at PSV Eindhoven, only signed a new three-year contract with the Premier League side in April.
