Ross Barkley
Someone who is certainly coming of age and fulfilling his raw potential; Ross Barkley has been in dazzling form for both club and country so far this campaign. The 21-year-old, who came through the Toffees’ youth ranks, has shone under Everton boss Roberto Martinez so far this season, scoring three and assisting three goals in his opening ten Premier League appearances. What was more impressive was his blistering start to the new term; where he found the back of the net in back-to-back games for Everton against Watford and Southampton, with his man of the match display at St Mary’s Stadium justifying his starting role in the England first-team fold after also setting up striker Romelu Lukaku’s second goal against the Saints. Having also scored in the Three Lions’ victories over San Marino and Lithuania earlier this season; Everton boss Martinez will be hoping Barkley can continue to hog the limelight at Goodison Park as the midfielder seeks to book his place in national coach Roy Hodgson’s squad for next summer’s UEFA European Championships in France.
