As Everton’s season continued to crumble away during the final few weeks, the Belgium international swooped Shoot’s award as their standout Player of the Month in May.

The Merseyside outfit’s form this season was summed up once more during May, as 3-1 and 3-0 defeats away at the hands of Leicester City and Sunderland was the final nail in the coffin for Roberto Martinez as the club parted company with the Spaniard.

Mirallas though had probably his best month at the club all season, as he scored the consolation goal in the 3-1 defeat at Leicester – a brilliant solo effort.

On the final day of the season, Everton ended their campaign on a positive note, as the Toffees put already-relegated Norwich to the sword in a comfortable 3-0 victory at Goodison Park.

The Belgium winger again was on the score sheet to tap home the third of the afternoon – it took Mirallas’ league tally up to four for the season, and he will want to take that form to Euro 2016 for his country this summer.
