Arsenal can win the treble this season, that is according to former Gunner Alexander Hleb, via Sky Sports.

The 35-year-old, who spent three seasons with the Premier League outfit, has tipped Arsene Wenger’s men to lift the English top-flight title, the FA Cup and the Champions League title this term after an encouraging start to their 2016/17 term.

“Wenger always sets the highest goals,” said Hleb.

“He has managed to keep his key players and they are playing great football. They are tearing everyone apart.

“I hope the team will win three trophies this season – the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League.

“This Arsenal side certainly has the ability and I will really be supporting them.”

The Belarus international, who is now playing for FC BATE Borisov, reached the final of the Champions League in 2006 with the Gunners, where Arsenal eventually lost 2-1 to FC Barcelona inside the Stade de France.

Hleb’s former club currently sit third in the Premier League standings, two points adrift of leaders Manchester City, but have won their last five league outings on the trot.
