Swansea have sacked manager Francesco Guidolin, and sensationally replaced the Italian with former USA coach, Bob Bradley, the club have confirmed.
Guidolin, who turned 61 today (Happy Birthday) was sacked after a 2-1 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side at the weekend, which capped a poor run of form with the Swans without a win since the opening day of the Premier League season.
Bradley, who has left French Ligue 2 side Le Havre to take the post in South Wales, has managed a whole host of MLS sides as well as taking on the national jobs of both the USA and Egypt.
The news has been met by mixed reactions by Swans fans on Twitter, with some thinking that their man should have been given more time…
Disappointed to see Guidolin sacked, I would have given him longer. Hope Bob Bradley does well now, 2 weeks to turn things around now.

Whilst others are glad to see the back of the Italian…

Wouldn’t even know what Guidolin looked like to be fair.

Some fans, although happy with the decision to let Guidolin go, are not happy with the appointment of the Premier League’s first American manager…
Totally agree with the Guidolin sacking but bringing Bob Bradley in? Madness

Bob Bradley?! Not sure about that! Swansea continue to go backwards at an alarming rate. #SCFC #Cymru #Guidolin
