Tottenham defender, Cameron Carter-Vickers, has committed his future to the club by signing a new three-year-deal, keeping him at the club until at least 2019, the North London side have confirmed.
The 18-year-old made his debut for Spurs in their 5-0 thumping of Gillingham in the EFL Cup and has been ever present in Mauricio Pochettino’s matchday squads this season.
The USA under 23 international took to Twitter to speak of his delight after signing an extension with the club…
Delighted to sign a new contract with @SpursOfficial ! Hard work continues! 🙌🏽⚽️

The American reached the quarter-finals of the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup with his national side, where they were unfortunate to lose on penalties to Serbia.
With such a busy schedule ahead for Spurs, provided they stay in all competitions, there could be plenty of chances for Carter-Vickers to stake a claim for more first team football as the season wears on, and to also become more recognised on the senior international stage.
Having seen their youngster sign a new deal, fans on social media seem pretty pleased…
