Five players who could still move after Transfer Deadline Day, according to the Mirror

Although yesterday was branded ‘Transfer Deadline Day’, in effect that only covered Premier League clubs signing players from their own league or overseas.

All 20 of the top flight clubs could still sign and sell players to and from the EFL, including loan deals up until the 16th October, with some big deals still on the table.

The Mirror have picked the five biggest deals that could still happen in the next ten days…

Josh King

The Bournemouth striker has been linked with a whole host of clubs this summer, from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. However, as the interest from those clubs has now faded West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa have recently been linked with the goal-getter who has bags of Premier League experience. However, given Ollie Watkins impressive hat-trick against Liverpool for Villa, might mean they feel they have enough in the attacking department.

Said Benrahma

A Championship player who has been linked with a Premier League move long before this summer window. Crystal Palace seemed the most likely destination for the Algerian, but that deal seems to have gone quiet of late. The Mirror are now reporting that West Ham United could be interested in a late swoop, and London big-hitters Arsenal and Chelsea have taken look at the tricky forward.

Joe Rodon

Rodon is a talented young centre back, who has been one of Swansea’s most consistent performers in the Championship of late. According to reports, Jose Mourinho is desperate for a centre back having failed to land one or two of his summer targets. However, the Mirror state that Spurs’ offer was way off Swansea’s valuation of their talent, so there is still a lot of negotions needed to get this deal over the line.

Ismaila Sarr

Sarr joined Watford last year in a club record-breaking fee. The North Londoners have stuck to their guns with Sarr, despite reported interest from both Liverpool and Manchester United. The Hornets have real intentions to bounce straight back to the Premier League and Sarr will be a big part of that if he stays. The Mirror are reporting, that Watford have completely ruled out a loan move and want £4omillion up front.

Bryan Mbeumo

The final third of the exciting Brentford attacking trio who got the Bees so close to promotion to the Premier League last season. With Ollie Watkins already joining Villa and Benarahma constantly linked with a move, it would be strange for Brentford to let all three of their best attacking players leave the club. However, Leicester City remain the most interested party and it is thought they will push for a move.
