If there’s one player who seems to be the brunt of more story lines in the papers than almost any other in the Championship then it’s Nottingham Forest’s Aston Villa loanee Ross McCormack.
It seems not a day goes by without some form or story in the national press regarding the former Leeds United striker and his injury problems, with the Telegraph recently running a story claiming that McCormack hadn’t been to training at Forest for three weeks.
It’s believed McCormack does have some health problems with recent pictures emerging of him after having surgery on his jaw to remove several cysts, but whether all of his issues are solely down to his health and not his lifestyle continues to be the source of much speculation.
The removal of cysts looks to have put an end to the Scottish international’s season and it’s now unclear what the future holds for the 30 year-old.
Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting on social media to the latest stories regarding the striker:
@BBCRNS @Telegraph I hope Villa are paying all his wages then

@BBCRNS @Telegraph And he should never play again, waste of time, waste of a talented footballer. Wants the lifestyle but doesnt want to work for it. #nffc

@BBCRNS @Telegraph Typical Forest. Can’t finish our dinner yet the most expensive player to play for us & arguably the most clinical in the league can’t play.
