Premier League fans are to be treated to the most anticipated fixture all season, the Manchester derby at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola go head-to-head for the first time in English football.

The former Barcelona boss has made a flying start to life in Manchester, with three wins from three in the league, as well as progressing to the group stages of the Champions League.

Wins against Sunderland, Stoke and most recently, West Ham have seen the Sky Blues rise to top of the tree in the Premier League, however, they now face their first real test under the new manager as they visit an equally impressive Man United, under the guise of their new manager, ‘The Special One’.

Despite such an impressive start to the season, the performances of the two-time Premier League champions haven’t been without concern, and there are a few changes which need to be made.

With that in mind, here are THREE players that Guardiola simply must drop for Saturday’s clash…

The former Arsenal man hasn’t made the worst start possible, however, he didn’t have the best of times against West Ham, and Guardiola will need someone full of confidence to face the test of Zlatan, Rooney and co.

When Aleksandar Kolarov came off the bench against the Hammers he brought a level of certainty and stability to the side, which may well be needed if Mourinho’s men take the upper hand at Old Trafford.

This may seem an obvious one, but despite the arrival of Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo, Caballero hasn’t been in the best of form between the sticks.

There have been a few shaky moments at the back since the 34-year-old took the place of the crest fallen, Joe Hart, and Bravo’s arrival is more than timely considering that those errors will be harshly punished by messrs Ibrahimovic and Rashford.

Now, we’ve not lost the plot, we know he is suspended, but there is a reason that City’s key man is on this list, so bear with us.

They’ve just been too good! There is no other player that can feature on this list! Guardiola’s side have been so impressive since the Spaniard took the reigns and it would be unfair to include any of the available starting XI on this list.

So, before you lose your rag and and let loose your rage in the comments section, just consider the reasoning, it’s not Shoot’s fault that the Sky Blues have been incredible.
