Man City outcast, Joe Hart has completed a season-long loan move to Italian side Torino, according to Guardian journalist, Ed Aarons, having been forced out of the picture in Manchester by new boss, Pep Guardiola.
The England international has fallen dramatically down the pecking order at The Etihad with the former Bayern Munich boss wanting a shot-stopper who is also talented and confident with the ball at his feet.
Having been dropped for Willy Caballero for the opening three games of the season, the 29-year-old made what appeared to be a farewell appearance against Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League before the arrival of Cladio Bravo from Barcelona, for a fee of £17m.
The former Birmingham ‘keeper arrived in Turin on Tuesday ahead of his medical as his agent confirmed the move, telling Tuttosport: “Yes, Joe Hart will play at Torino. It’s done. He has said ‘yes’ to the club and now Manchester City have given the OK. It’s all true, it’s certain.”
England’s No.1 has made just shy of 350 appearances for the Sky Blues, winning two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cup during his time at the club.
