Guardiola ready to stump up Mbappe cash after Manchester United snub

Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have never quite seen eye to eye and, having clashed in Spain, are now continuing their rivalry in the Premier League at the helm of both Manchester clubs.

Having already met three times this season on the pitch the managerial duo are set to clash in the transfer market this summer, and it looks as if Guardiola could be about to make the most of Manchester United’s failings.

According to reports from Le10 Sport (via Metro), the Manchester City manager is prepared to stump up big bucks to land a deal for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe after Mourinho’s bid of £72m was snubbed by the French outfit.

As per the report, the Citizens, who look on course for Champions League qualification ahead of their red rivals, are willing to fork out £94m to land a deal for the 18-year-old who has bagged 24 goals in all competitions so far this season.
