Pep Guardiola has reportedly agreed to become Manchester City’s new manager next summer after it was confirmed he will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

The Spaniard, who’s been in charge of the Bundesliga champions since 2013, will be replaced by ex-Real Madrid, PSG and Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, with the Italian signing a three-year deal at the Allianz Arena.

And after the news broke, German TV channel ZDF Sport announced the 44-year-old has already struck a deal to take over from Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad for the start of the 2016/17 campaign.

However, until there’s any official confirmation, with Louis van Gaal under-pressure at Manchester United, and Chelsea looking for someone to replace Jose Mourinho on a permanent basis, there could still be a three-way battle to secure the most wanted coach in world football.

Guardiola has won 20 trophies in his spells in charge of Barcelona and Bayern, including two Champions League crowns with the La Liga champions.
