Manchester United welcome Middlesbrough to the Theatre of Dreams in the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday night – this evening’s only tie that falls outside of an all-Premier League affair.

The 20-time league champions, who fended off Ipswich Town 3-0 inside Old Trafford last month, play host to Championship opposition once more in the form of Aitor Karanka’s men, who currently sit fourth in English football’s second-tier.

The Red Devils’ £36m summer signing Anthony Martial will be looking to score in back-to-back Capital One Cup games after netting against the Tractor Boys in the third round, meanwhile Boro’s Albert Adomah already has two goals to his name in this season’s competition having scored twice against Wolverhampton Wanderers in his side’s previous League Cup encounter.
