Chris Wood is a transfer target for Huddersfield Town.
According to a report in The Sun the Leeds striker is wanted by the newly promoted side to lead their Premier League campaign.
After scoring 30 goals last season Wood has a trail of clubs chasing his services but it seems that a move across Yorkshire is on the cards for the 25 year old who has played for nine clubs since joining West Brom in 2008.
Leeds were in the hunt for a play off spot for most of the season before falling by the wayside with the sight of the New Zealand internationalist playing in the top flight for their local rivals a difficult one for Leeds fans to deal with.
The loss of last season’s top scorer will be a major blow for manager-less Leeds but with a fee of £15m on the table and massive wage rise it’ll be difficult for the Elland Road side to resist.
