Hull City are reportedly interested in signing former England Under-21 international Ravel Morrison, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who currently lie one point adrift of safety in the top-flight’s relegation zone after losing seven of their opening 11 league games, are ready to take a gamble on the out-of-favour Lazio midfielder in a bid to strengthen their survival bid this term.

The 23-year-old, who featured four times for England’s Under-21 side, has failed to make a single first-team appearance for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

In fact Morrison, who came through Manchester United’s youth ranks, has featured just eight times for Lazio since moving to Italy 16 months ago.

New boss Simone Inzaghi has left the midfielder out in the cold after refusing to play him, with Morrison having a history of showing a lack of commitment.

The report suggests Morrison, who has also featured for the likes of West Ham United, Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City in English football, is available for just £600,000.
