Hull City are reportedly trying to sign Premier League ace Nick Powell on loan before the close of the January transfer window, according to ESPN FC.
The Championship leaders, who have won their last four league meetings on the bounce, want to recruit the out-of-favour Manchester United attacking midfielder until the end of the current campaign.
The 21-year-old, who is an England Under-21 international, has made just two first-team appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions this season.
Powell, who arrived at Old Trafford from League One Crewe Alexandra back in 2012 in a deal worth £4m, is wanted by Tigers boss Steve Bruce to help his side clinch promotion to the Premier League come May.
