Chelsea manager Anotonio Conte has enjoyed almost a perfect start to life as a boss in the Premier League, having already lifted the Premier League title this weekend could bring a League and Cup double with the FA Cup Final against Arsenal.

The Italian’s success, however, has put Chelsea in a sticky situation with Serie A side Inter Milan reportedly ready to throw unprecedented amounts of money towards Conte in order to lure him to San Siro as their new boss.

However, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, who is desperate to keep hold of the former Azzurri boss, has been handed some good news with regards to events in Milan.

According to Italian journalist, Tancredi Palmeri, the fallen Serie A giants are set to announce Roma manager Luciano Spalletti as their new boss next week.

Should the reports be accurate, there will be a sense of relief at Stamford Bridge as the powers that be can begin to plot for further success under Conte in the following seasons.
