Ipswich Town have reportedly made an offer for Hearts teenager Jordan McGhee.

It is understood that the Championship outfit have submitted two bids for the Scotland Under-21 international, with their most recent offer of £250,000 being rejected by the Scottish Premiership side.

McGhee, 19, scored two goals in 21 appearances in all competitions for last season’s Scottish Championship champions.

However, Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy has refused to be drawn upon the speculation: “He’s somebody else’s’ player and I don’t talk about them.”
