Italy striker keeps West Ham waiting

West Ham United could reportedly miss out on signing Juventus forward Simone Zaza.

The Hammers had agreed a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy for around £11 million next summer.

However, the 24-year-old, who only joined the Turin side last month, has yet to agree to the move and is leaving the Premier League side waiting.

It is thought that the former Italy international is holding on to see if fellow Juve striker, Fernando Llorente, seals a move to Sevilla.

If so then he could be handed a squad role by boss Massimiliano Allegri.
