Jose Mourinho’s former assistant hints his former boss Luis Campos is set for a return to Real Madrid, when speaking on sports show El Chiringuito de Jugones.
The once self-branded ‘special one’ has been out of management work since being replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United in December 2018.
Mourinho has not been shy of pundit work both for SkySports and Bien Sports, with much speculation about his next job circling within the media.
And former assistant to Mourinho Luis Campos, believes the world-renowned manager will return to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
“Real Madrid are a good thing. Jose Mourinho is a good thing. When we mix two good things together you get better results.
“Real Madrid needs to have the best managers and Mourinho’s CV gives him the right to work in the best clubs.”
Campos also shared his thoughts on Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, adding:
“I think he will end up at Real Madrid. If he wants to be the best player in the world, he has to play for Real Madrid.”
“It is unavoidable that they run into each other.”
