Juventus are attempting to sign Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer, according to Sky in Italy.

The 27-year-old will leave the Emirates when his contract expires at the end of the season after the Gunners withdrew their offer of a fresh deal in October.

After being linked with a number of clubs, it’s reported that the Italian champions lead the race ahead of Serie A rivals Inter Milan for the playmaker.

With his contract up in the summer, the former Cardiff City player will be able to negotiate a move to foreign clubs from January 1st.

Ramsey has played 350 times and won three FA Cups with Arsenal since signing for the North London club in 2008.

But since the arrival of new boss Unai Emery, the Welshman has been in and out of the side, starting just seven Premier League matches this term.
