Fourth-placed Coventry City welcome third-placed Walsall to the Ricoh Stadium with both sides knowing a win will take them into the top-two.

The visitors, fresh from an impressive 1-0 victory at former boss Dean Smith’s Brentford in the FA Cup, will go top if they record a sixth win from seven league matches.

However, they face a Coventry who are unbeaten at home this season and sit just a point below them in the table.

The Saddlers though have a decent away record this term, having lost just once in the third-tier on their travels.

Elsewhere, fellow promotion chasers Wigan and Sheffield United go head-to-head at the DW Stadium.

Amazingly, these two sides played each other on the final day of the 2006/07 Premier League season, which saw the Blades relegated from the top-flight.

Wigan and Sheffield United scrapped it out on the final day of the 2006/07 Premier League season

Now they’ll be looking for victories to maintain their challenge to regain their Championship status.

The Latics are unbeaten in four and six points off second placed Gillingham, while United, who lost to a 93rd minute Wayne Rooney penalty at Manchester United in the FA Cup on Saturday, are four points adrift of the top-six but have lost just one of their last five league matches.

Port Vale, who are level on points with the Blades, are also looking to maintain their hunt for a play-off spot when they take on Swindon Town.

Rob Page’s side recorded a 1-0 win at Blackpool on Saturday, while their visitors won their first league outing in three after coming from 2-0 down to beat Southend United 4-2 at the County Ground to leave them nine points off the top-six and six ahead of the bottom-four.
