League One Round-Up: Oldham and Fleetwood boost their survival hopes with wins

Oldham’s bid for survival received a welcome three points with a 2-0 victory over Swindon Town at Boundary Park on Tuesday night.

Liam Kelly and Curtis Main netted for the Latics as they move to within a point of safety with two games in hand on the club above them in the standings, Blackpool. The Robins, who have now let in 13 goals in four games, stay 15th.

Fleetwood also boosted their bid to avoid the drop with a 2-0 win at home to Peterborough. Wes Burns opened the scoring and, after Michael Bostwick missed a penalty for Posh, Eggert Jonsson grabbed a second. The Cod Army move up a place to 19th but remain just a point above the bottom four.
