League One Round-Up: Walsall secure back-to-back wins, Oldham leapfrog Blackpool at the bottom

Walsall moved up to third in League One after they defeated Fleetwood 1-0, their second away win in just three days.

After breaking their run of six games without a win at the weekend, the Saddlers have got their push for promotion back on track and are only perched outside the top two on goal difference. Tom Bradshaw’s 14th league goal of the season was enough for all three points. The Cod Army are just three points above the relegation zone.

Tom Bradshaw has now scored 14 league goals for Walsall this campaign.

The big game at the bottom of the table saw Oldham come out victorious with a 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Blackpool.

Matt Palmer’s second-half goal moves the Latics above their opponents. John Sheridan’s side have lost just once in their last nine games and are only stuck in the bottom four on goal difference. The Tangerines are two points from safety.
